Individuals and organizations contributing to the growth and prosperity of the Abuja creative and
entertainment industry

Any member of the public with adequate information about the nominee and the work that they do in
the category in which they are to be nominated or voted for

Nominations at the MAE AWARDS can be done by a third party that has a good knowledge of the work that the nominee is doing in the category that they hope to emerge from or by the prospective nominee themselves.

Nomination and participation at the MiA AWARDS is absolutely free

Individuals and brands or organizations are eligible to be nominated in more than one category

Verifiable legal documents, pictures, articles, features, videos, audios and any other material that may aid adequate evaluation of project claims

The deciding factor for MiA AWARDS winners is an aggregate of the public votes, jury votes (MiAA Academy), and project alignments of the category.

Documents shared with us will only be used for the sole purpose for which it has been requested (decision making)

Our selection process combines public appreciation with expert validation through a unique three-tier system: public voting (30%), industry jury assessment (40%), and project verification (30%). This balanced approach ensures that winners truly represent excellence in their field while giving voice to public opinion. Each nominee’s work is carefully evaluated based on impact, innovation, and contribution to Abuja’s creative ecosystem.
